3g reviews: The W850i is essentially the successor to the W900i. While we liked the W900i at 3G, there were some discrepancies that, thankfully, its inheritor has ironed out, and even ditched. Firstly, the W900i arrived from the old school 3G-camp; its hulking chassis meant it wasn’t matey with the trouser pouch. The W850i is far more compact, closely resembling the Nokia 6280 in size and weight.

Some user groups even voted the W850 to be the worst looking Sony Ericsson device ever. On top of graphite black, there is also a white model available, which may hide the design features that you don't like. The catchiest part of its design is the striking orange bar button on the front of the handset underneath the Walkman logo. This orange bar works as a shortcut key to the Walkman screen. The W850 looks heavy, and it isn't small either, measuring 98mm x 47mm x 21mm (3.86" x 1.85" x 0.83") and weighing 116g (4.09oz).
